Are you trading hours for dollars? Most are. In fact, over 98% of Americans and the rest of the world have been taught to trade hours for dollars in order to make a sustainable living. We are naturally conditioned to think this way.
You’ve been conditioned by a fundamentally flawed system that says you have to sell your time in exchange for a paycheck. 98% of our society and the rest of the world is taught to sell their lives away by the hour. And even if you are not holding a sales position on your job parse, you are in sales. And you will always be in sales for the rest of your life…even if you don’t THINK you are.
Let me briefly explain:
If you are a dentist, you are selling smiles. If you are a waiter or waitress, you are selling a great dining experience. If you are a bricklayer, you are selling muscle. Get the point? I’m sure you do.
See, just about everyone has a false belief system of trading hours for dollars. You learn it from your parents and grandparents and… you’re taught that throughout your life - from grade school - all the way to your first job interview.
You know… work very hard in life, play the game and hopefully, someday, you’ll rise to the top of the income ladder in your profession.
It’s just natural to think that way when that’s all you’ve ever been taught and all you’ve ever heard.
Consequently, most people do just that in America, when the greatest opportunity in the world such as gifting of cash is right in front of their eyes - all the time. It’s staring them in the face at least 2 to 3 times a day and they don’t even know it. (I’ll talk about that in a minute.)
I know people that have bought into that belief system, went to college, worked like a dog, rose to the top of their game again - trading hours for dollars - and after 30 years, they still have Zilc (more…)
