There are four steps that will help you to begin the process of building a large, productive team in network marketing. Team building is not difficult if you do it the right way. It’s a struggle for a lot of people, but it doesn’t have to be.
If you want to develop energized and excited leaders, you have to have a system that people can easily duplicate. Growth is about duplication more than multiplication. It will also help you to do develop leaders who will go out and duplicate the same process.
Here’s the four step process.
1) Tell Your New Team Member What They Need To Do.
There are several ways you can give out or “tell” people about what they should be doing. For those who are interested in building teams of their own, you need to tell them how to prospect, how to contact, and how to present, and how to close.
Here are the most often used methods of “telling”.
- Live trainings
- Conference Calls
- Webinars
- DVDs
- Websites
2) Show Your New Team Member How To Do What They Need To Do.
After you’ve told your prospects what they need to do, you have to show them how to do it. The best way is to do “practice” presentations with them. In other words, let them first listen to you do it yourself. They can listen to you on phone calls or live presentations. Whatever systems your upline or company has in place, make sure to show them how to use them properly.
3) Let Your New Team Member Try What They’ve Seen You Do.
Once they’ve had the chance to watch you, let them try it for themselves. Instead of you making the calls, let them make the calls. Instead of you doing the presentation, let them do the presentation. Let them go through the entire process from start to finish.
